Job Description Summary:
Under routine supervision the incumbent is responsible for management of customer freight orders to meet volume goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Work requires developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships to maximize business potential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Foster excellent customer relations by monitoring on-time service and prompt response to electronic order requests to maximize freight potential.
Enter customer orders into the order management system and track loads as required to ensure on time damage free service.
Communicate internally and externally to increase stakeholder satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Proactively communicate with customers to minimize service failures.
Respond to customer requests promptly for information by checking load status to achieve customer satisfaction.
Set pickup and delivery appointments to ensure timely delivery and maximize customer satisfaction.
Engage customer for additional freight opportunities.
Obtain approval for accessorial charges with assigned customers to ensure accurate billing.
Manage trailer pools for assigned customers to meet their needs and ensure adequate equipment utilization.
Maintain customer contact information by closely monitoring data received to identify and correct errors and prevent issues or delays from occurring.
- Monday - Friday 10:00PM - 6:00AM
Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM - 5:00PM and Monday & Tuesday 6:00AM - 4:00PM
Wednesday - Saturday; 10 Hour Days
Friday - Monday 6:00AM - 4:00PM
Friday - Monday 10:00PM - 8:00AM

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
