Position Summary: The incumbent is responsible for managing client satisfaction under the direction of the General Manager. Develop, maintain and manage the relationship between internal field operations and assigned client by “adding value” to the client. Continually search for, communicate and implement new and creative methods to improve customer service, increase productivity and drive out cost. Responsibilities: Provide database reporting, through Pace and PBR, as requested by customer and internal field operations. Assist General Manager by overseeing the implementation and measurement of Key Performance Indicators. Provide data used for contract renewals, rate increases and to evaluate changes in business by preparing operating assumptions for the account. Assist General Manager and field operations with customer presentations, contract renewals and new business opportunities. Assist General Manager and field operations in preparation for Annual Account Assessments and Mid Year Business Reviews for all client locations. Provide account analysis upon request to include cost studies, measurement tools and utilization studies. Assist General Manager by providing recommendations based on KPI results which drive out costs and add value to the customer. Ensure accurate, timely invoicing and reporting is provided to client. Provide start up assistance – equipment resets, driver hiring requests and systems implementation.

Job Description:

The Regional Builder Manager is a leadership role in overseeing the installation process of Whirlpool appliances. This position works closely with the Sr Director of Strategic Accounts, field Builder Specialists, and Delivery Installation Specialists, to ensure proper application and installation policies/ procedures are followed. This position requires up to 75% travel depending on business needs, along with schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a lead communicator in the network of Whirlpool installation policy and procedures

  • Lead a team of Builder Specialists to promote continuous improvement

  • Work with the Whirlpool Corporate RDM for product and installation issues

  • Assist Whirlpool Sales, Builder Specialists, and LDC Managers with understanding new and existing Builder job requirements

  • Working with Builder Specialists and LDC Managers to ensure compliance with site visits and scheduling Builder installations

  • Ensure the Quality Management Plan is administered

  • Enforce pre and post-delivery installation inspections

  • Ensure proper management of parts inventory levels

  • Ensure compliance with the Whirlpool parts order process

  • Work with Local, State and National Building code officials to understand Electrical, Gas and Plumbing code requirements as they pertain to appliance installations

  • Monitor local Builder Specialist monthly audits for policy compliance

  • Conduct regular Builder Specialist calibration audits as needed

  • Participate in Weekly and Monthly Installation Services conference calls

  • Help drive policy compliance across the network

What does it take to be considered?

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and two years management experience.

  • Able to facilitate, monitor and report various projects out as assigned

  • Great customer service skills, both written and oral

  • Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email

  • Able to travel locally and out of town, overnight

  • Must have flexible workdays and hours

  • Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred but not required
