Job Summary:

Under general direction, this positions will be responsible for assisting in the production of internal and external facing video content for J.B. Hunt Transport’s (JBHT) business units for various marketing, sales, and training purposes. All video content produced will be in collaboration with management, internal clients, and marketing managers, and will include production support and direction from the marketing team. All videos will maintain brand guidelines and standards.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of the video production process including pre-production, logistics, filming, and post-production.

  • Assist with filming and editing of video content and implement detailed changes and feedback for internal use at trade shows, sales presentations, JBHT’s internal website myjbhunt.com, and external facing outlets (jbhunt.com, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).

  • Edit pre-made motion graphic animations for various videos using Adobe After Effects.

  • Contribute and support all other facets of video production and the numerous tasks required for equipment maintenance and file management.

  • Receive and execute detailed direction and feedback, work cohesively with other members of the video production team, and work well in a fast-paced environment.

  • Travel out of state for various video shoots for multiple days at a time.

  • May require a focus in certain areas of photography, animation, editing, and/or production (filming/lighting).

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or experience in video production and at least 2 years of direct experience managing video production projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in video production or film with at least 2 years of direct experience managing video production projects

  • Motion Design experience a plus

  • Photography experience a plus

  • Experience working in groups and production teams, but also an ability to work independently and on a deadline

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder)

  • Knowledge of the Frame.io platform for review and approval

  • Thorough understanding of visual and narrative grammar

  • Familiarity with standard practices of digital compression, including knowledge of video resolutions, codecs, and frame rates

  • Experience with post-production workflows, from import to sending for final delivery

  • Maintain file organization standards, develop naming conventions, and adapt to future media asset management tools

  • Create split scripts and conceive a series of visuals based on a pre-made script

  • Keep a project on a deadline, short and long term

  • Experience shooting and editing in the field working under tight deadlines

  • Experience with professional video equipment, such as the Sony “FS” camera series or similar and Sigma Cinema Prime series lenses, as well as knowledge of sound and lighting techniques and equipment

  • Quick learner who can function well in a fast-paced environment and receive continuous creative feedback and direction

  • Ability to travel 35% of the time
