Job Description Summary:
Under minimal supervision, the position is responsible for improving and standardizing our business processes on small- to large-scale projects in support of our business strategy. The position is responsible for business transformation using Lean and Six Sigma best practices through streamlined, efficient business processes, reporting, data visibility and analytics. The incumbent mentors Green Belts, depending upon certification level and/or experience.
Executes assigned projects under limited guidance by establishing business value and scope to accomplish measurable business process improvements.
Improves processes using Lean Six Sigma techniques by implementing advanced graphical and statistical decision-making tools.
Leads the project team to project resolution . Creates effective communications/presentations to senior management.
Implements solutions and establishes control plans with appropriate transition to process owners.
Mentors Green Belts, depending upon certification level and/or experience.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Management, Statistics, or related field, or suitable combination of education, experience and training; plus 5 years experience in Manufacturing or Transportation/Logistics. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
Experience in Lean, Kaizen, PDCA, DMAIC
Proficiency in MiniTab, Sigma XL, JMP or other statistical analysis tools.
