Job Summary:

Under general direction, this position is a high-level, blended project-management position. The incumbent will manage staff and provide overall management of large and complex maintenance projects for specific technical areas to ensure organizational needs are met; supervises project progress, forecasts future needs, and interacts with leadership at the top level. This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.

Budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reconciling business unit equipment needs and transactions from an account and financial viewpoint. Reviewing, refining, and developing processes around equipment in-flow and out-flow. Manage assets life cycle w/ respect to utilization and depreciation.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize computer systems and programs to provide overall management for large and complex construction projects to ensure organizational needs are met; supervises project progress and staff performance.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain the company's safety culture by promoting a safe work environment in compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Direct personnel tasks including discipline, staffing, performance management, annual reviews, and time and attendance.

  • Train and onboard new maintenance team members and managers.

  • Set departmental goals and establish operational procedures.

  • Manage records and maintain reporting; present information on a regular cadence to maintenance leadership. Assist management with forecasting future department needs and opportunities.

  • Manage staff in utilizing materials, facilities and equipment; oversee project costs and staff performance.

  • Collaborate with team, other department-teams, and/or other companies to improve quality of department's performance.

  • Interact with internal and/or external customers or vendors to determine project requirements to ensure that all project goals are being addressed. May develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, performance metrics, status reports and customer submittals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification

  • Create Annual budgets for Revenue Equipment Cost Center

  • Create Annual budgets for Gain/Loss and Capital Expenditure (Capex)

  • Assist on Annual budget associated with DCS Equipment Depreciation

  • Monthly Gain/Loss Reconcile and Forecast

  • Monthly Capital Expenditure (Capex) Reconcile and Forecast

  • Monthly reporting associated with: Residuals, Production Contracts in Workday, & Life/Salvage

  • Provide Monthly reporting on specific BU KPI metrics related to equipment

  • Monitor and report on disposition of Revenue Equipment

  • Perform analysis and updates on equipment utilization

  • Maintain a Five Year outlook on Equipment Acquisitions/Dispositions

  • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Rebate monitoring and filing

  • Weekly reporting on Equipment Dispositions and New Acquisitions

  • Workday Invoice exception reviews/approvals

  • Perform Ad Hoc Reporting as needed


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 3-5 years of related experience.

  • Budgeting experience

  • Accounting/Finance experience

  • Financial Forecasting experience

  • Ability to interpret and analyze data

  • Data Querying knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively.

  • Ability to document information and make quick decisions.

  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 50 pounds).

  • Ability to make sound financial decisions.

  • Ability to manage a team.

  • Ability to run queries, utilize SQL, and perform basic analytics.

  • Proficient in Excel and Access.

  • CPA, CFM, or other comparable certification.

  • Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE).

  • Ability to work both individually and as a team.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work with minimal direction.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Advanced project management experience.
