Job Description Summary:

Responsible for coordinating all J.B. Hunt Transport pricing strategy requests, obtaining the customer requirements and ensuring the agreement has been successfully implemented into both the customers and J.B Hunt systems. Additionally, the position is responsible for managing the efficiency and accuracy of the application of all charges for invoicing purposes; identify, and resolve issues regarding of freight charges on assigned customer accounts.

Job Description:

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong working relationships with each pricing group, sales, operations and marketing personnel.

  • Process the flow of pricing request information between truck, intermodal, controlled regional fleet, backhaul, ICS, LTL, and J.B. Hunt’s legal group.

  • Resolve issues with the customer pricing requests that will flow back through the Pricing Administrator to ensure consistency throughout J.B. Hunt’s entire pricing response.

  • Continually improve all pricing response processes.

  • Process Salesforce Requests, validating for accuracy, standardization, legality, and profitability.

  • Produce data for publication in a format that meets established requirements.

  • Produce publications that meet standard requirements; improve/create optimum automation of rates.

  • Load rates into rating system through either Eagle/ORCA or manual input.

  • Investigate all assigned invoices and develop solution to ensure prompt payment.

  • Communicate weekly with assigned Sales Representative regarding past due invoices

  • Measure and report customer service quality and account receivables.

  • Address/resolve differences between customer requirements and J.B. Hunt standards.

  • Audit and resolve variance issues daily.

  • Reach and maintain corporate goals for invoicing accuracy.


Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
