Job Description Summary:
Under general guidance, this position will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be assisting in the creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The position will work with a limited number of business units to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, return on investment and the achievement of results and outcomes.
Utilize the Professional Science methodology for Organizational Change Management.
Assesses and analyzes the change impact and prepares risk mitigation plans.
Defines and measures success metrics and monitors change progress.
Consults, coaches, and manages project teams and business unit stakeholders.
Creates actionable deliverables at each interval: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
Supports communication and training efforts within a limited number of business units.
Supports organizational design and the definition of roles and responsibilities as it relates to the change initiative project.
Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, English, Business Communications, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training; plus 4 years of experience in Project Management or Communications environment. .
