Job Summary:

Responsibilities will include extracting data, organizing and interpreting data, and analyzing results to publish reports and draw conclusions. Responsible for collecting data from a variety of sources this data is collected using mathematical principles that are used to create numerical representations of real events and trends.

Job Description:

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for accuracy and timely completion of report requests, projects, government reporting submission, monthly reports, annual reviews and departmental budget.

  • Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables.

  • Develop an understanding of fields to which statistical methods are to be applied in order to determine whether methods and results are appropriate.

  • Prepare data for processing by organizing information, checking for any inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighting the raw data.

  • Process large amounts of data for statistical modeling and graphic analysis, using computers.

  • Evaluate sources of information in order to determine any limitations in terms of reliability or usability

  • Evaluate the statistical methods and procedures used to obtain data in order to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy.

  • Examine theories, such as those of probability and inference in order to discover mathematical bases for new or improved methods of obtaining and evaluating numerical data.

  • Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect the results of research.

  • Prepare turnover analysis, and point out trends for management to make decisions with.

  • Complete external wage and benefit surveys.

  • Complete staffing analysis and productivity analysis as needed.

  • Complete disparate impact analysis as needed on Hiring or Promotion processes.

  • Write and deliver reports/queries ranging from simple to complex.

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.



  • Bachelor's degreefrom a four-year college or university; preferably a degree in the field of Statistics, Economics, Industrial/organizational Psychology, Organizational development, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics

  • 12 to 18 months of related experience and/or training

  • Must have the ability to operate general office equipment and computers.

  • Must be proficient in the use of various software programs, including Microsoft Excel.

  • Must have the capability to rapidly learn new software applications.
