Job Summary:

The Catalyst Financial Analyst (CFA) works on the Catalyst team engaging with the entire enterprise to manage and communicate the performance of a company-wide portfolio of organizational improvement efforts called ELEVATION. The CFA assists in development of new improvement efforts to be added to ELEVATION along with validation of the status and financial impact of efforts in progress or completed. Additional ad-hoc evaluations, analyses, budgeting and administrative efforts related to ELEVATION are also part of the regular workload.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with preference to Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering.

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, able to work in a team environment, able to successfully manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, able to adapt and change priorities at a moment's notice. Possess good organizational, time management and communication skills.

  • Two to five years related experience and one to twelve month’s management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • Continuous Improvement Certification such as Kaizen or Lean Six Sigma in the absence of a Master’s Degree is beneficial.

  • Must have the ability to operate general office equipment and computers. Must be skilled in the use of various software programs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Proficient understanding of HTML and JavaScript is preferred. Advanced understanding of Excel is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Collect and confirm the implementation status of ELEVATION ideas by working with business owners and internal stakeholders.

Determine and communicate the potential or actual organizational value of ELEVATION ideas under consideration, in progress, or implemented by working with the Catalyst team, business owners, and internal stakeholders.

Production of steering committee and executive reporting materials with the assistance of the Catalyst team.

Preparation of data for application in the ELEVATION budgeting process by working with the Corporate Finance team.

Integrate the financial impacts of the ELEVATION portfolio into departmental budgets by working with Finance, Engineering & Technology (E&T) and divisional controllers to ensure proper accounting

Articulate Engineering & Technology related ELEVATION costs and benefits across division by working with the Engineering & Technology Controller and business support roles.

Support the system used to administer the ELEVATION program.

Performs ad-hoc evaluations, analyses, and administrative processes as determined by Catalyst team management.
