Under routine supervision, the position is responsible for the support, deployment, and life cycle management of end user computing technologies.
Provides tier 2 support for end users including hardware and software issues by troubleshooting, identifying root cause, and implementing the appropriate solution.
Deploys hardware and software to end users.
Determines and executes tasks to support technology life cycle.
Participates in Desktop Technician projects by performing basic delegated desktop support and installation tasks.
Participates in 24/7 on-call rotation as needed to resolve end-user escalations and report on issues accordingly.
- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, or Engineering, or related field, or suitable combination of education, experience and training; plus 2 years of experience in Information Technology; ability to work nights, weekends, or across multiple shifts as needed.
