As a Power Carrier Recruiter, you'll be responsible for sourcing, soliciting and screening potential carriers. You'll also be responsible for selling J.B. Hunt's compensation and carrier services to secure qualified carriers
The successful candidate for this role will:
Must utilize excellent oral and written communication skills to develop business opportunities that will secure outsource capacity by utilizing various methods of communication and interaction including but not limited to telephone, email, and video conference with potential carriers.
Evaluate and determine whether prospective carriers are prospects through a prescribed qualification process.
Communicate and demonstrate the benefits of the company by using supportive materials and presentations.
Cultivate a pipeline of contacts that can develop into a working relationship.
Maintain status of activity and documentation of the qualification process within the company outsource capacity database (HUB).
Assist qualified carriers in completing all necessary documents required to get set up as an approved carrier.
Maintain and foster an on-going working relationship with the carriers that you secure to help drive external capacity growth.
Monitor financial returns within your portfolio of secured capacity to ensure they are in-line with division goals.
Must be able to meet or exceed financial expectations set forth by the Director or Operations Manager.

What does it take to be considered?
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 7-11 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Sales or recruiting related experience preferred.
Be an effective negotiator, clear communicator, and a proactive problem solver. Develop relationships, communicate clearly, and be able to hear "no" and keep going.
Have strong motivation to work on a sliding scale, commission based pay structure. Be driven and paid by results.
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Russian, Armenian, Iranian a Plus.
