Job Description Summary:

Final Mile Services specializes in professional and cost effective final mile deliveries throughout the United States. Our solutions range from jobs site deliveries for construction and remodeling projects to retail and home deliveries including appliances, furniture, mattresses and many other products. Job Description:


  • Safely operates a 24’-26’ box truck.

  • Assists driver with timely deliveries of bulk items to customers’ homes in accordance to procedures and services.

  • Assists with maintaining communication with station about any change of delivery, delays, route or schedule.

  • Assists and maintains delivery equipment, including handheld scanner.

  • Assists with scan, load and organize merchandise onto truck.

  • Unload merchandise in and out of truck as needed throughout the day.

  • Scan or write in confirmation of delivery upon arrival to recipient client.

  • Helps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive.

  • Helps inspect delivery vehicle daily looking for safety hazards (low tire pressure, tire wear, check oil and fluids, dents etc.) and report any abnormalities.

  • Immediately report any accidents or vehicle issues.

  • Interact with customers during deliveries on provided services, resolve clients complaints and maintain professionalism at all times.




  • Safety conscious

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US

  • Pass criminal background check

  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.

  • Experience using hand trucks, carry straps

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands. Vision abilities required by this job include close and peripheral vision.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay starting at $16.00/hr with a target of 46 hours per week
